Dr. Gopal Shah (MBBS, MS, MCh) Consultant Neurosurgeon, Finished his full medical training including MBBS, MS, and MCh from NHL Medical College and KM School of Post-graduation of medicine and Research.
He stood first in final Neurosurgery exams, After graduation, he moved to PD Hinduja Hospital and Medical Research Centre in Mumbai. He worked for two years as an associated Consultant under the expert guidance of renowned Dr. BK Misra. India's topmost Neurosurgeon. especially in the field of minimally invasive and micro-neurosurgery.
Later on, he moved to work as a fellow in Cerebrovascular Surgery at Barrow's National Institute (BNI), and gained exhaustive experience with world-famous Prof. Robert F. Spetzler in Phoenix, USA Professor Spetzler has operated more than 5,000 aneurysms and bears the highest position in the world of Cerebrovascular surgery. He was then appointed as a fellow at The Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH) in Melbourne, Australia. Here, he worked under the guidance of Professor Andrew Kaye, a renowned professor, and researcher, especially in the field of neuro-oncology. RMH is a huge and busiest neurosurgery department in Australia with a dedicated skull base and neurovascular departments.
He has gained extensive skills in spinal surgeries including instrumentation and stabilization procedures.
